Scoreghetti – How to Use (Now with Extra Sauce)

  • Welcome to Scoreghetti — the scoreboard that’s as easy to use as boiling pasta (but don’t forget your password, or you’ll be left with spaghetti sadness).
  1. Enter Access Code
Pick any text as your access code — your team name, your cat’s nickname, or your favourite pasta shape. Just make sure it hasn’t already been used. No duplicates allowed in this kitchen. If it’s a unique access code, you will be asked for a password and confirmation to register.
  2. Set a Password
Choose a password you’ll remember. Seriously. There’s no “Forgot Password” button, no recovery email, no second chances. If you forget it, your match data is gone like yesterday’s leftovers.
  3. Login
Click Login to enter your scoreboard. Use the same access code and password again later to resume your match and view your history. It’s like bookmarking your pasta battle.
  4. Public View
Click Public View to open a live, read-only version of the Game page. Want to spectate a match? Enter a known access code or click Active Matches to see what’s cooking.
  5. Show Active Matches
See a list of all currently active matches — basically, all the access codes currently in play. It’s like peeking into everyone’s pasta pot.
  6. Manage Scores
Use the Game Page to update scores and view your match history.
Click a score to increase it.
Click the “–” button to subtract 1 (no garlic required).
    Change player names anytime.
A glowing highlight means it’s their break.
Click Switch Break to swap turns — yes, it does exactly what it says.
Click Save to lock in your current score and start a fresh match at 0–0.
There is no undo — once saved, it’s al dente forever.
Privacy & Data Notes
  • No personal info collected. We don’t want your email, your phone number, or your grandma’s lasagna recipe.
  • Lost access code or password? Sorry, we can’t help. Your match data is gone.
  • Old match data may be deleted to save space. Want to keep it? Use Export to CSV in the History view.
  • Intended Use: Scoreghetti is for casual, social competitions. Not suitable for official tournaments, Olympic qualifiers, or resolving intergalactic disputes.
